Request a substitute
ForRequesters
When you send a request, your organization’s subs are notified, and you’ll hear back as soon as one accepts.
You need permission to request subs. If you see “It looks like you aren’t registered as a teacher anywhere,” ask your FillMyClass admin to give you access to request subs.

Request more than one day
Section titled “Request more than one day”Pick several days in step 4 to cover them with one request. Every day gets the same hours to start with. To change the hours or sub plans for one day, select that day in the list on the form.
For requests with two or more days, Multi-day coverage sets who can take them:
- One sub for all days: a single sub must accept every day.
- Allow different subs per day: subs can accept just the days they’re free.
If your organization has chosen this for you, you’ll see Set by your school instead.
